Our priority areas are water and air.

Water

Water covers the spectrum from water management to water treatment, in the domestic, corporate and agricultural fields. South Africa is a water-stressed country with an inadequate and poorly maintained infrastructure.

Moreover the management of water resources, particularly within the agricultural sector, is sub-optimal. South Africa's water challenges are prevalent in the majority of African countries.

The provision of clean water to all citizens, urban and rural, remains a challenge. In addition, the effective and efficient management of water resources, particularly in the agricultural field, are national priorities. Both issues impact negatively on economic growth and productivity as well as having an extremely detrimental effect on citizen's ability to live healthy lives.

Air

The need to address the quality of air circulating in our spaces, whether private or public has become critical in recent years. The explosion of airborne pathogens and the resulting infections have created a real danger to people, which can have an impact on the financial resources of organisations, such as hospitals and large corporate buildings.

The negative impact on staff productivity, patient health and clients' wellbeing has real costs – increased absenteeism due to ill health, long stays in hospital to treat infections and illness among staff, and increased claims on the health care providers, both private and public.

The provision of healthy air which has been treated as efficiently as possible to ensure the removal of pathogens is critical to reducing infection rates of Tuberculosis and consequently, mortality rates.
